    Programme Manager in Sports, Exercise and Recreation Management in the College of Life Sciences and Technology   [RF: 2024/25-FT-193-JDB]

     

    Monthly Salary Range: HK$38,860 – HK$64,545

    Duties:  The appointee will provide programme management support to programmes in the sport, exercise and recreation subject areas. He/She will be required to provide academic support to both full-time and part-time programmes, guidance to students, assist in the development of new programmes, attend meetings as requested and perform any other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:  Candidates should have a Master’s degree in sports related disciplines such as sports coaching, recreation, exercise science, physical education, fitness, sports psychology, or related disciplines. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the industry or in managing/teaching relevant subjects at post-secondary level. Good communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and manage resources, and excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English are required. Experience in programme management will be a definite advantage.

    Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
