    Programme Manager in Culture, Arts and Design Subject Group in the College of Humanities and Law   [RF: 2024/25-FT-251-JDB]

     

    Duties:  The appointee will play a leading role in the promotion, development and management of a variety of creative arts programmes, including full-time and part-time award and non-award bearing programmes and courses. The scope of duties include a strong emphasis on enrollment-related activities, supplemented by programme management and teaching and quality-assurance activities, such as coordination with part-time teachers and outside bodies, class visits, preparation of programme budget and monitoring reports, and support for creative arts-related events and projects.

    Requirements:  Candidates should have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a reliable network in the creative arts field.  A master’s degree in a related discipline with at least 3 years relevant working experience in the industry, preferably with some experiences in programme management and administration, is essential. They should also have good communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent command of English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese). Teaching experience at tertiary level will be an advantage.

    Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
