    Learning Centre Supervisor in the Accommodation and Facilities Unit   [RF: 2024/25-FT-258-JDB]

     

    Duties: The appointee will assist the Deputy / Learning Centres Managers in monitoring the operation and facilities of the School’s Learning Centres. Duties include leading and coaching a team of support staff in daily operation; looking after enrolment, enquiry services and facility management; providing administrative support to programme teams and administrative units; supervising the setup of teaching equipment and venue arrangement; coordinating renovation projects, repair and maintenance of teaching / office equipment and furniture; arranging regular briefings with teammates for task allocation and service enhancement; assisting in training, staff deployment and prepare duty roster; following up procurement, inventory, building and cleaning services; preparing statistics and regular reports, etc. Shift duties (including weekends and public holidays) and overtime work may be required.

     

    Requirements:  (a) (i) Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or equivalent; or (ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree will be an advantage. Candidates should have 6 years’ working experience in the related disciplines with at least 2 years serving at supervisory level. Good written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) with strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills, experience to handle service contractors / suppliers, proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing, ability to perform multi-tasks and work under severe time pressure independently and willingness to take up responsibilities are essential.

     

    Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
