- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines plus at least 7 years relevant working experience in IT service development and software engineering, including at least 5 years working experience in Oracle Campus Solution;
- Profound knowledge in PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, Oracle PL/SQL, Java, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, Python, React/React Native, Node.js, Docker, GitHub/GitLab;
- A team player with good analytical, problem-solving, communications and interpersonal skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Familiar with IT operations of academic life cycle especially in assessment and grading;
- Having practical expertise in Oracle PeopleTools would be highly advantageous.
System Analyst (Senior IT Officer in the Information Technology Services Unit) [RF: 2024/25-FT-259-JDB]
Duties: The appointee will assist the IT Manager in leading a team of professionals on IT applications development and support. Duties include collecting requirements, designing, building and testing applications and systems, training users and creating documentation, providing end-user support, liaising with and monitoring outside vendors in outsourced projects, and managing staff and teams. The major projects under his/her supervision will involve the development and maintenance of the School’s ERP systems, such as the Student and Course Records system, academic-related applications, web applications, and projects related to AI development and digital transformation.

Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
