Executive Officer (Admissions and Academic Liaison) in the Community College [RF: 2024/25-FT-276-JDB]
Duties: The appointee will be responsible to organise local and mainland student recruitment activities, provide support to promotion activities and outreach to prospective students and community, school talks and exhibitions in Hong Kong and Mainland China. He/She will also conduct reviews and enhancement of systems and operation procedures, prepare statistics and analytical reports, supervise support staff, provide secretarial support to committees and meetings, handle student and public enquiries, and perform other ad hoc projects and events as assigned. Occasional travel to Mainland China is required.
Requirements: Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ experience, preferably in admissions and promotion in the higher education or continuing education sector. The appointee should be independent, detail-minded, able to work under pressure and a good team player. Strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, good computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing and excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
