Executive Assistant II in Food, Nutrition and Healthcare in the College of Life Sciences and Technology [RF: 2024/25-FT-281-JDB]
Duties: The appointees will provide support to programme administration of the Food and Nutrition programmes in the Subject Group. The scope of duties includes student enquiries, classroom allocation, coordinating student activities, liaison with academic staff and teachers and maintenance of student/staff records and filing. Besides, he/she will also be responsible for general administrative duties and performing ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements: Candidate should possess a Higher Diploma or an Associate Degree preferably with 1-2 years working experience in administrative work. Holder of a Bachelor’s degree will be an advantage. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing, strong sense of responsibility, effective organisational skills and self-motivation are essential. The Candidate should also be detail-minded, able to work independently and handle complex tasks efficiently.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
