Executive Officer in the College of Humanities and Law [RF: 2025/26-FT-044-JDB]
Duties: The appointee will be responsible for matters related to publicity and student affairs of HKU SPACE International College (IC). The job duties include preparation and execution of publicity campaigns and promotion events, coordination of publicity materials productions and management of social media and online platforms. The appointee will also assist in coordinating the Government Financial Assistance and Scholarship Schemes, the College’s Scholarship and Bursaries Schemes, organising student activities, orientation programmes and various College events and functions.
Requirements: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years' relevant working experience, preferably in the higher education and/or continuing education sector. They should also have good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and an appropriate level of IT literacy. Experience in a supervisory role and working with GBA students would be advantageous.
Terms of appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
