    Executive Officer (Academic Affairs) in the Community College   [RF: 2025/26-FT-062-JDB]

     

    Duties:            The appointee will support the issues related to College’s academic affairs, including scheduling of timetables, maintaining the programme/course record in the Student and Course Record System (SCORE), maintaining the database of the course depository regarding the latest programme curriculum and course documents, coordinating the administrative work in nomination of External Examiner / Academic Assessor, handling the applications of Course Exemption and Credit Accumulation and Transfer, assisting in committee secretariat services, liaising with internal/external parties, supervising support staff, and taking up ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned. 

    Requirements:  Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ general administration experience preferably in the higher education or continuing education sector.  The appointee should be independent, detail-minded, able to work under pressure and a good team player.  Strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, good computer proficiency and excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required. 

    Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
