    Executive Officer (Campus Administration) in the Community College   [RF: 2025/26-FT-107-JDB]

     

    Duties:  The appointee will oversee all matters related to the operation and office administration of the College campuses which include planning of accommodation needs on various campuses, drafting Academic Calendar, updating Staff Handbooks, providing secretarial support to College meetings, coordinating with different parties on staffing issues and with different Divisions on the issues of College operation and other administration matters.  He/She will also be required to support various College services and events such as admissions, examination, student orientation and registration and other ad hoc duties as assigned.

    Requirements:  Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ general administration experience preferably in the higher education or continuing education sector.  The appointee should be independent, detail-minded, able to work under pressure and a good team player.  Strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, good computer proficiency and excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required. 

    Terms of Appointment:  Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
