Executive Officer (Special Project) in the College of Humanities and Law [RF: 2025/26-FT-164-JDB]
Duties: The appointee is responsible for providing a full range of support to ensure the smooth operation of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment Centres for Logistics / Import and Export / Security Services/ Arboriculture and Horticulture / Property Management Industries under the Qualification Framework and to support other special projects. He/She will serve as secretary to relevant committees and task groups, and support the development and implementation of the relevant initiatives. He/She will also provide administrative support for the RPL Assessment Centres, and undertake any other duties as assigned by the Chairman and Manager of the RPL Assessment Centres.
Requirements: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of working experience preferably in the areas of public relations, marketing and/or event management. They should be proactive and creative, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision, and possess excellent written and spoken English and Chinese. Experience in committee servicing, copywriting, and publication will be a definite advantage. Experience and skills in the use of AI tools and applications will also be an advantage.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
