    Executive Officer in the College of Humanities and Law   [RF: 2025/26-FT-167-JDB]

     

    Duties:  The appointee will be responsible for overseeing publicity matters and managing student affairs at HKU SPACE International College (IC).  The job duties include coordination of the Government Financial Assistance and Scholarship Schemes, College’s Scholarship and Bursaries Schemes, organising student activities such as study tours, talk series, orientation programmes and various College events and functions. He/She will also assist in the execution of marketing plans and publicity activities of the College.  

    Requirements:  Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years' relevant working experience preferably in the higher education and/or continuing education sector. They should also have good communication, coordination, analytical and interpersonal skills, capability in prioritising job tasks and excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).  Experience and skills in the use of AI tools and applications will be an advantage.

    Terms of appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
