- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines plus at least 4 years relevant working experience in IT service development and software engineering;
- Experience with web application frameworks, containerisation technologies, and Kubernetes;
- Practical expertise in Oracle PeopleTools development and Oracle E-Business Suite system customisation and implementation would be an advantage;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders across academic and administrative units;
- Be open to exploring and testing out various new technologies;
- Ability to evaluate and leverage AI tools to enhance operational efficiency, understanding of AI/ ML applications and latest technology development;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Knowledge and experience in higher education operations and IT governance, particularly in supporting academic institutions’ enterprise systems is preferred.

Job Highlights:
Duties: The appointee will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the School’s ERP systems, web applications, and projects related to AI development and digital transformation. Major duties include maintaining and enhancing the School’s ERP systems, such as Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) and Oracle Financials (FIS), as well as developing and supporting web-based applications for academic and administrative units and contributing to AI and digital transformation projects.
Requirements:
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
