    Programme Manager, Maisy Ho Centre for Teaching and Learning   [RF: 2025/26-FT-205-JDB]

     

    Duties: The appointee will be responsible for the development, management and administration of accredited teaching programmes and related professional development initiatives of the Maisy Ho Centre for Teaching and Learning. He/She will take charge of accreditation‑related activities, in‑house teaching programmes and quality assurance matters. The scope of duties includes:

    • managing accreditation applications for professional teaching bodies (e.g. Advance HE), and liaising with external and internal stakeholders;
    • developing, designing and implementing in‑house professional teaching programmes aligned with external professional standards;
    • organising and conducting professional development workshops and training activities;
    • managing programme administration including publicity, admissions, training schedules and, professional portfolio development and participant support;
    • liaising with teachers and administrative units to ensure effective programme delivery;
    • co-ordinating Centre’s various teaching and learning related activities and quality assurance related matters; and
    • performing other duties as assigned.

     

    Requirements: A recognised Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Technology or related disciplines with at least 3 years’ relevant work experience in programme management, educational development, professional training or related areas, preferably with teaching experience in tertiary education or related environment. A doctoral degree or relevant professional qualifications such as Advance HE Fellowship or similar professional teaching bodies will be an advantage. Strong organisational, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required.  Abilities to manage multiple stakeholders and tasks effectively and to work collaboratively and proactively in a team environment are essential.  Excellent command of written and spoken English.  Experience and skills in the use of AI tools and applications will be an advantage.

     

    Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
