Assistant Registrar in the Registry Affairs Unit [RF: 2025/26-FT-226-JDB]
Duties: The appointee will oversee and support a range of Registry Affairs functions, including administration of the enhanced Continuing Education Fund Scheme, graduation and certification, academic credentials verification, examination administration, teacher support, student visa matters, non-local registry administration, library access arrangements, lifelong learner cards, liaison with the University, statistical reporting, and the centralised production of School Award Parchments. He/She will also lead and supervise a team of officers, ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality administrative support, and undertake any other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Candidates should possess a recognised degree, preferably a Master’s degree, with 10 years’ relevant work experience preferably in the higher education or self-financing post-secondary education sector. They should be detail-minded and be able to work independently with good problem solving and time management skills. Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills, excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and good computer proficiency are required. Experience and skills in the use of AI tools and applications will be an advantage.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 22 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
