    Temporary Executive Assistant II in College Affairs Secretariat in the College of Business and Finance   [RF: 2026/27-FT-001-JDB]

     

    Duties:  In support of College-wide GBA-related work, this post will undertake centralised administrative duties and strengthen the functions of the College Central team by providing dedicated capacity for the coordinated administrative and operational support of GBA-focused programmes, initiatives and activities overseen at College level.  Responsibilities include consolidating inputs from programme teams for College-level submissions, reports and promotion planning; maintaining College Central master trackers on GBA programme pipelines, development status and implementation progress; and coordinating the preparation, circulation and follow-up of College-level papers and action logs.  The post will support the College Central team in coordinating and streamlining work that cuts across multiple programmes targeted for the GBA.

     

    The post will also support College-initiated GBA promotion efforts by coordinating logistics for College-level briefings, information sessions and outreach activities; consolidating programme inputs into coherent College-wide promotional materials; and tracking activities and outcomes for management review.  In addition, the appointee will assist in supporting GBA-related College committees and internal alignment meetings, as well as managing College-level records and correspondence.

     

    Requirements:  Candidates should possess a Higher Diploma or an Associate Degree, preferably a Bachelor’s Degree.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Chinese word processing, and the use of Gen AI tools is required.  The ideal candidate should have strong administrative skills, with the ability to plan and execute tasks carefully and systematically.  Familiarity with Chinese Mainland social media platforms, a proactive and energetic attitude, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to take on responsibilities are essential.

     

    Terms of Appointment:  Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will be on a temporary basis for 1 year.
