Executive Officer (Special Project) in the College of Humanities and Law [RF: 2026/27-FT-048-JDB]
Duties: The appointee will be responsible for providing a full range of support to ensure the smooth operation of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment Centres under the Qualifications Framework, as well as supporting other special projects. He/She will serve as secretary to relevant committees and task groups, and assist in the development and implementation of related initiatives. He/She will also provide administrative support to the RPL Assessment Centres and undertake any other duties as assigned by the Chairman and Manager of the RPL Assessment Centres.
Requirements: Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of relevant work experience, preferably in administrative support, project coordination, and/or event management. They should be detail-minded, able to work under pressure, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Experience in committee servicing, copywriting, and general administrative duties will be a definite advantage. Experience with and proficiency in the use of AI tools and applications will also be advantageous.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
