- Managing the development, maintenance, enhancement, and integration of web application systems and websites.

- Supporting and aligning web applications with the School’s AI strategy and works with the AI & Emerging Technology Team to implement AI-enabled features.
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (preferably a master’s degree) in information technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering. Additionally, candidates should possess a minimum of seven years of relevant post-qualification experience, including at least five years of expertise in web development, implementation, or management of admission systems and website infrastructure.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with admission systems in higher education institutions, along with a strong understanding of admissions operations.
- Experience in coordinating projects, monitoring tasks, engaging stakeholders, and liaising with vendors. Demonstrate strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder support capabilities.
- Experience in collaborating effectively with business units, IT teams, and external partners to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable delivery plans.
- Possess practical expertise in front-end frameworks, including React, Vue, or Angular, as well as back-end development, servers, APIs, and databases. Demonstrate proficiency in the SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Oversee responsive design, system performance, defect resolution, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of AI chatbots, automation, and prompt-based workflows would be advantageous.
- Experience with web platforms and admission workflows would be advantageous.
- Candidates must be proactive, service-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Assistant IT Manager (in the grade of Computer Officer II) in the Information Technology Services Unit [RF: 2026/27-FT-053-JDB]
Duties:
The appointee will assist the IT Manager in leading the Web Application Team and overseeing the daily operations, enhancements, and support of the School's Web Application, including the Admission e-flow System, Websites, AI Chatbot, Website Mobile App, Marketing Database System, Portal services, and Clinic system. Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
