    Temporary Assistant IT Officer in the Community College   [RF: 2023/24-FT-376-JDB]

     

    Duties: The appointee will assist in the development and maintenance of multimedia materials of an online award-bearing programme and IT support to the College.  Duties include: (1) multimedia equipment setup, photo/video shooting and post-production work; (2) development, maintenance and testing of online learning websites and application systems; (3) provision of user trainings; (4) other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Requirements: Candidates should possess a Higher Diploma / Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media or related disciplines, Bachelor’s degree will be an advantage.  He/She should have audio/video production and 2D/3D animation production skills, proficiency in Creative Cloud tools including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effect and Illustrator etc. and ability to develop websites with HTML, CSS and frontend JavaScript.  Knowledge in system development and database skills will be a definite advantage.  He/She should be independent, a good team player and can work under pressure with strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.  Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is required.  Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

    Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract of appointment will be for one year.  Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
